  在中国的历朝历代,御厨房的养生膳食向来就是维护帝皇嫔妃身体健康的一个保证,有史记载,远在周朝,宫廷就出现了专门的食医(御厨)用饮食来调理帝王的身体;近如清代,御厨制作的菊花火锅也被老佛爷慈禧太后用以永葆青春,以百草入馔,用膳食养生,造就了中国独有的养生御膳文化。
本公司近年来,一直致力于中国养生御膳的研究和发展,公司创始人之一王云璋先生,在继承传统养生菜品的基础上,大胆融入现代生物科技产品,将传统饮食文化与现代餐饮科学有机结合,依据春节补肝,夏补心脾,秋季润肺,冬季补肾的四季五补原理及“金字塔”式的科学饮食结构,合理搭配美味健康的养生佳肴,其重在美味,意在调理,在业界和社会上均引起了很大的反响。自2002年在中国药用植物研究所开创中国新派养生美食至今,本公司研制的《百草养生宴》不仅获得了国家专利注册商标,同时还被中央电视台、北京电视台、法国电视二台、旅游卫视、环球卫视等新闻媒体多次报道。2008年初,在北京旅游局为奥运发行的《北京全百科》中,《百草养生宴》是被北京旅游局推介的唯一养生菜系。

Health-Preserving Banquet with All Kinds of Herbal Plants
 
Throughout the dynasties of the Chinese history, the health-preserving meals had always played the important role of guaranteeing the health of not only the emperors but also their wives and concubines. According to the historical records, as early as in the Zhou Dynasty (about 2,500 years ago), there was already the Food Physician (or the Imperial Cook) who was specialized at maintaining the emperor’s health through special arrangements of contents of the meal. In the Qing Dynasty, the chrysanthemum hotpot created by the imperial cook of the Sui Dynasty was still employed by the Empress Dowager (Cixi) for the purpose of keeping young. The employment of all kinds of herbal plants in the meals and the health-preserving way through the special meals has combined to create the health-preserving-through-valuable-meal culture of entire Chinese uniqueness. Recent years have witnessed our company’s whole-hearted dedication into the research and development oh the culture.
Mr. Wang Yunzhang, one of the company’s founders, has studied under Mr. Jiao Mingyao, the renowned master on imperial meals from TongRenTang (one of China’s most prestigious and time-honored traditional pharmacies). Mr. Wang Yunzhang, carrying forward the essence of traditional health-preserving meals as well as innovatively employing products of modern biological technology, integrates traditional meal culture and modern diet science perfectly into an organic unity. He follows the scientific diet structure of the pyramid and the principle of “five nourishes during the four seasons”, i.e. “to nourish the liver in spring, to nourish the heart and nourish the spleen in summer, the lung in autumn and the kidney in winter”. Advocating that the health-preserving meal should be both delicious and nutritious, the former being the emphasis and the latter the eventual purpose, Mr. Wang has been literally well-received not only in the business circle but also in the whole society.
The Health-Preserving Banquet with All Kinds of Herbal Plants developed by our company in 2002 was recognized then as a fresh creation in health-preserving diet by China Research Institute of Medical Plants. It has ever since been conferred the registered trademark of a national patent and has been reported about frequently by medias including CCTV, BTV (Beijing TV), France TV-2, Travel ST and Global ST. In 2008, the Health-Preserving Banquet with All Kinds of Herbal Plants was selected as the only recommended health-preserving cuisine, written into the Beijing Encyclopedia which was officially launched by Beijing Tourism Administration for the 2008 Olympic Games.
